Notes & Installation Instructions:

  • The lowering measurement refers only to the rear lowering, not the overall height of the bike.
  • The lowering link comes with bearings and seals, but you will need to remove the center sleeve and aluminum spacers from the original link and press them into the new lowering link.
  • Before installing the sleeve, thoroughly lubricate the bearings on the new lowering link.
  • After installation, lubricate each grease fitting with a grease gun every 5-10 hours of riding to significantly extend bearing life.
  • Follow the torque specifications strictly as outlined in the service manual.
  • To maintain balanced handling, it is recommended to raise the front fork tube to a certain height based on the condition of your bike.
  • Lowering the suspension will alter the bike's geometry and handling characteristics.
  • Exercise caution during initial rides, avoiding high speeds or aggressive handling.
