Verbessertes Aufwärmen – Während des Aufwärmens lässt der Thermostat das Kühlmittel am Kühler vorbei. Dies verkürzt die Aufwärmzeit und verhindert unangenehme Schwalls von kaltem Kühlmittel.
Längere Motorlebensdauer – Durch die Erhöhung der oberen Betriebstemperatur des Zylinders auf 90 °C und der unteren Betriebstemperatur auf 80 °C reduziert der Thermostat den Ölverbrauch und verhindert unrunde Zylinder, die bei älteren Motoren häufig auftreten. Notiz:

Wichtig zu beachten: Die KLR650 (Modelljahr 2022) ist nicht mit einer Kühlmitteltemperaturanzeige ausgestattet. Zur Überwachung der Kühlmitteltemperatur können Sie das digitale Trail Tech Thermometer separat erwerben. Dieses Thermometer kann über den im Kit enthaltenen 1/8-28 BSPP-Anschluss installiert werden.
Zusätzlich verfügt die australische Version dieses Kits über einen Anschluss für die Vergaserheizung. Zum Anschluss wird lediglich die Verschlussschraube entfernt.
